Great Riesling from a great producer

clare valley = brilliant riesling

Matching variety and region is key when looking for great value.  When thinking about Riesling, look no further than the Clare Valley or Eden Valley in SA or Great Southern in WA.  Chances will be good that you can find a great value Riesling that delivers refreshing, easy drinking as well as flavour galore, structure, complexity and length.

This 2016 vintage was rated 9/10 by the Halliday Wine Companion for white wine in the Clare Valley, so this is a great choice from a seasonal perspective.

Tim Adams is rated as a Five Star Winery by the Halliday Wine Companion. Deservedly so. Having tasted many of their wines over many years I can attest to their consistent outstanding quality.

92 Points - Gary Walsh, The Wine Front:

Always a hot contender in the list of best wines around and under $20

"Sweetly floral, youthful banana perfume, ripe lemon and lime. Fresh and flavoursome, though it’s a more racy iteration of this wine for sure, gentle powdery texture, brisk Granny Smith apple acidity and flavour, and more of the same on a pretty long, but fractionally coarse finish. It’s good now, but it’ll be better in the new year (2017)." - tasted August 2016

92 Points - Halliday Wine Companion

"classic bath salts, lime juice cordial, and grapefruit aromas push through”

- tasted August 2016

Perfect as a light, refreshing white to match spicy food (especially given that it is only 11% alcohol) or for a warm afternoon, or just Friday night drinks. Click the link below to add some to your basket.
